The actress, who was a cover girl for Vogue magazine, now lives with her family in Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel still struggles to cope with her divorce with Richard Harris, even though they only dated for 8 years. The actress was born into a Jewish middle class family, and grew up in Manhattan, Turkel had, at the age of 16, been studying alongside Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and Philip Burton at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. This included Sandy Meisner & Philip Burton. Ann formed a band with schoolmates in high school and started singing. The moment she performed with her group at a fashion show when Ann was discovered through Gloria Schiff an editor at Vogue Magazine. In less than a week, editor-in chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot her first Vogue Cover together with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was soon one of the most wanted models in the United States, appearing on cover images for some of the largest fashion magazines. This include Vogue Bazaar as well Cosmopolitan. Ann was the first model to make her debut internationally in Europe as well as Japan as a model for Max Factor Revlon.
